Getting Started

Install extension → Generate/Import wallet(s) → Visit Supported Website → Trade

Getting started with Snapper is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to install the extension and make your first trade:

  1. Install the Snapper Extension
Visit our Discord to download the latest version of Snapper. Once downloaded:

    • Click on the file to unzip it

    • Go to chrome://extensions/ and enable Developer mode

    • Click on Load unpacked and upload the whole dist folder

  2. Connect or Create a Wallet
Snapper supports up to 5 wallets, so you can generate or import multiple private keys if you want to manage several portfolios. After importing or generating, you’ll see your wallet addresses available in Snapper. You can export your private key at any time.

  3. Fund Your Wallet
Ensure the wallet you plan to use has enough native token (ETH, BNB, etc. depending on chain) for gas fees, as well as the funds you want to trade. Snapper doesn’t hold your funds – it simply uses your wallet to execute trades on DEXs, so you retain custody at all times.

  4. Using Snapper to Trade
You’re now ready to trade! There are two primary ways to initiate a trade with Snapper:

    • Supported Websites: If you are browsing a token of a supported chain on a site like DexScreener, DexTools, or GeckoTerminal, Snapper overlay will appear. Easily click on Buy or Sell to start trading.

    • Stable-swap: Alternatively, click the Snapper extension icon in Chrome. A trading interface will pop up, where you can sell the native token you want for USDC or USDT.

  5. Enjoy the speed
Within moments (typically a few seconds, depending on the network), your trade will execute on-chain. Snapper will notify you of the outcome. You can verify the transaction on the blockchain explorer if you like. Congratulations, you’ve made a trade using Snapper!
